I am writing this from the beautiful state of Washington. My family and I came here to get away from the busy city life of Washington DC to recharge and to become re-inspired. This trip has allowed me to step away from the music I was and I am currently working on and see it all in a new perspective. This drastic change of scenery is something crucial for writers and producers to take part in. It’s also so important to spend time with the people who care about you and that you really care about. Life is short and we are not guaranteed tomorrow. We must invest our time wisely as if each moment we have with each other is all we have.

I want to take a moment to fill in the blanks for anyone reading this. I have been playing piano since I was eight years old and drums since I was nine. Long story short I began writing songs at an early age. I went to Berklee College of Music in 2007 and graduated a little over a year ago. Starting when I was eight until I graduated, most of my time was spent exploring and being educated in music, songwriting, and producing. About one year ago I joined Taxi, an independent music A&R company that allows independent artist like myself to get our music in the hands of major record labels and companies that don’t accept un solicited material. Taxi is not a magic web site that can promise you success but if you are a hard worker, good at what you do, and aren’t easily discouraged Taxi could be the answer to open industry doors that would otherwise remain shut.

Through Taxi, the internet, and other contacts, I have managed to sign a large number of my songs (non-exclusivily) to currently six Film/TV music libraries. So far, I have had my song “Top Of The Game” , placed on an MTV show “I Used To Be Fat” (Season 2). I have also had that same song used in a documentary.  Most of these deals are very recent so hopefully there will be many more to come. Through contacts I have made I am also currently working with several major people in the music industry. I will talk more about that later on as things unfold. Big things are bound to happen and I am excited to share them as they do!
