This blog is meant to be a documentary of my musical career. My name is Alexi von Guggeberg and I am a songwriter/producer/rapper/singer from the Washington DC/ Virginia area. I have a beautiful wife and 18 month year old son. I love the twist and turns life throws my way. I love a challenge and I love music. Choosing a career in songwriting or music for that matter, is not for those who give up easy. However, I have a family, a dream, and drive and giving up is not an option. When I first arrived at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA some very wise words were spoken to me at our commencement ceremony. We were told “It’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey”. I am inviting you to join me on my journey as I create, write, record, succeed and fail. This is my real life, unedited, raw, no extra fluff, no record label painting a picture of me for my audience. This is me, Alexi von Guggenberg (G.U.G.G.).
